Many of us these days use social media as a way to quiet the mind and zone out before bed. For me, it’s cookie decorating: safe, non-judgmental, non-hostile, and just plain fun to watch. My favorite? Wet-on-wet icing.

The only downside? When the algorithm goes on repeat, showing the same creators and the same red-and-white holiday ornament cookies… for five days straight.
